Welcome to the world of building a successful career in the accounting world and fulfilling dreams. This time we have a very sweet and spontaneous tale of how ‘partners in crime’ turned to ‘partners in success.’ Meet Mitesh Madhani, a CA and CPA by profession. With ease, he banged a position at one of the Big 4s in no time. This star alumnus believes success is a combination of hard work and a little bit of luck.
Mitesh’s friends blasted him off to the stars by introducing him to Miles Education, where his dream of working in the US and with international MNCs didn’t feel like rocket science. When asked what made him swoon for Miles, he replied “Miles was the chosen one, thanks to the stamp of approval from pals who were studying for their CPA and CMA at the institution. Plus, catching a glimpse of Varun Sir’s teachings on YouTube sealed the deal – I was hooked and had to enroll!”
Our star Alumnus doesn’t just work hard, he knows how to relax as well. Mitesh thinks nothing beats listening to music, taking a leisurely walk, and going for a spin in the car. As for entertainment, his all-time favorite movie is “Interstellar”, and his love for romantic music comes naturally, pizza is his go-to dish, and he believes tea is the perfect drink of choice. And last but not least, He believes that when it comes to TV shows there is only one that is worthy of fire and blood! [that’s a Game of Thrones}.
When asked for tips on preparing for the CPA exam, our star alumni said that the Regulations exam was the toughest nut to crack, but in no time he cleared his CPA with Varun Jain by his side. “It’s been a smooth journey without any sort of hurdles, like starting from basic evaluation till the final degree” is what Mitesh has to say about his entire journey with Miles.
We also wanted to unveil Mitesh’s quirky side so we asked some fun questions. The responses did help us decode – if Mitesh had a personal anthem, it would be the Game of Thrones theme song. Guess he took his career from Accounting to Account(K)ing! But if he ever decided to branch out from being a CPA and start his thing, he’d jump at the chance to teach with all the moolah he could get his hands on.
Towards the end, we discussed some tips for our readers with the star alumni. Mitesh’s financial mantra is simple: save up, do your research, and then spend it wisely. Learn, Learn, Learn Kids!
While this blog focuses on Mitesh, we have more exciting alumni stories coming up. Stay tuned for future blogs that will give you a glimpse into the journey of our other alumni.
