Meet Rolwin D’Cunha, crunching numbers and slaying the accounting game by day, and a popcorn-munching cinephile by night. Not only is Rolwin a CPA success story, but he’s also here to serve as a source of motivation for all you aspiring CPAs out there. Rolwin may seem like a calm and chill individual, but get him laughing and he’ll show you how to let loose, you just tickle that funny bone. We had the pleasure of capturing his fun-loving side, and let us tell you, it was a real treat!
Rolwin D’Cunha, a Miles Alumni, holds a secure position at Deloitte as an audit senior. Thanks to his dedication and hard work, he was able to complete his cpa certification in just a year after enrollment. Talk about impressive! On being asked how he found Miles to be his partner in his US CPA journey, Rolwin replied, “I was on the hunt for an instructor who would truly understand my needs and be able to deliver the course material in a way that resonated with me. That’s where Miles Education & Varun Jain came in – they offered everything I was looking for and more.”
We also found our Rolwin’s secret of acing the US CPA exam – it’s consistency and hard work, plain and simple. And let’s not forget the importance of having the best CPA training institute by your side – after all, a good teacher can make all the difference. While he may have faced a few challenges along the way, he always made sure to strike a balance between work and studies.
Also, we found out that our very diligent alumni also had a couch potato inside him! We never would’ve guessed that if he had the chance to skip work for a day, he’d totally kick back and marathon an entire TV series. One thing that we found amusing was the idea that if Rolwin had the opportunity to have a monkey as a pet, he would train it to perform his daily tasks- like a monkey butler! Sounds fun!
Towards the end of the discussion, Rolwin shared some amazing tips that are sure to be helpful for anyone looking to succeed in their career. First up, for all the aspiring Certified Public Accountants out there, he recommends putting in some extra time to really nail down the material for FAR – it’s one tough cookie of an exam, but with plenty of practice, you’ll be able to conquer it. And for a money tip that Rolwin swears by, he says to spend wisely and invest wisely – because let’s face it, who doesn’t want to see their dough grow?
Listen to our former students, folks! They say that becoming a CPA is a surefire way to achieve worldwide recognition and secure your future. Trust their word and take the plunge!
While this blog focuses on Rolwin, we have more exciting alumni stories coming up. Stay tuned for future blogs that will give you a glimpse into the journey of our other alumni.
