Why did you opt for CMA over other accounting courses?
I had a faint idea about CMA before I started my graduation, but when I joined Chitkara University to pursue my B.Com, I was thrilled to know that the institute has a ready opportunity to pursue CMA as an integrated program. Gradually I came to know more about CMA and the credibility it holds for students who aspire for a career in accounting. Plus, CMA is quite flexible with the eligibility criteria, providing a golden opportunity for freshers to compete with experienced professionals at the same level. This made me choose CMA over other professional courses.
Once you took up the course, what was your strategy?
I started with Varun’s lecture videos which covered all the topics for CMA preparation. After each lecture video, I went through the topics that are taught in the classes and then practiced my MCQs along with it. As my CMA preparation went parallel with my degree courses, I never lost the momentum to sit & study. With all the support and aspiration, my CMA journey became a lot easier than I had imagined it to be.

- Remember to revise & re-revise to be thorough with the topics.
Why did you choose Miles over other training providers?
Miles is one of the best institutes through which one can opt for both CMA and CPA. Miles provide high-quality study material and Varun sir’s bite-sized lecture videos were very easy to grasp. What I enjoyed is the constant peer support and unremitted guidance from the faculty. Being mentored by them, it lifted my confidence as an aspirant and now I am proud to have the CMA credential added to my name.
Now that you have completed your CMA, what’s next in store for you?
While preparing for CMA, I came to learn about in-demand topics about Business Finance, Accounting, Decision Analysis, Risk Management, and a few other topics which grabbed my interest. Therefore I did a small survey on my own on which role I want to myself in the future. CMA somewhat teaches you how to plan as well and so, I have listed a few options already before I enter into a corporate hustle. I would aim to move to the corporate world and have 2-3 years of experience on my back and then start with the next challenge in becoming a future-ready finance professional.
