I work in a specialized field of audit where a CPA license amplifies my career many folds. As I was scouting for appropriate guidance to pursue the CPA course, Miles came out as the obvious choice. In today’s hyper-fast coaching classes, what we miss is a focused journey catering to our needs.
Miles not only offered all the requisite materials required to pass the exams but also guided me with pre and post-exam formalities which had very limited visibility for me. Miles was suggested by an ex-colleague in Deloitte (passed CPA from Miles) who too cleared the exam with wonderful marks.
My journey was long considering multiple personal and professional commitments. Even though numerous instances warranted me to drop out, I wanted to complete the exams as a challenge rather than a burden. That made all the difference.
A lot of the topics in the exam were known to me previously, so, I focused majorly on cramming more MCQs and SIMs, every single day. In the airport, in my free time, in boring conclaves, I was also solving MCQ(s).
With more globalization and the advent of international (MNCs) inhouse finance & accounting operations to India, CPAs are playing a big role to provide confidence to all stakeholders. Also, with BIG 4 (+ other 6) focusing on India as their Global audit/accounting delivery centers, CPA licensing is the go-to-future. As this is my 12th Certifications in the space of F&A / GRC, I want to focus more on information technology certifications to enhance the existing capabilities and skillset in the cyber area.
Finally, to all the upcoming CPAs, piece of advice while selecting your CPA education provider – Don’t fall for fake pen drive videos, go for the experience and guidance which Miles delivers.
